Sean Delaney was a husband, a father, a brother, a son, and a friend. He was also a successful businessman and a founding partner of Genuity Capital Markets. Sean had a quick wit and outlandish sense of humour. He was the life of the party.
He lived life flat out. Sadly, on February 2, 2007, Sean Delaney died from an allergic reaction to peanuts while on a hunting trip in Mexico. He was 40 years old. This tournament honours his memory. Sean loved to laugh….and he made us laugh even more with his numerous Sean-isms:
“Life’s too short to spend it with fools”
“263 more sleeps till hunting season”
“If I put 100lbs on my butt I would be perfectly balanced”
“I have a washboard stomach, but it’s for very delicate fabrics”
“Five minutes to maximum fun!”
“My brain is full – can I go home please”
Thanks for the laughs Sean.
