Anaphylaxis Canada's mission is to inform, support, educate, and advocate for the needs of individuals and families living with anaphylaxis and to conduct and support research related to anaphylaxis.
The Board of Directors of Anaphylaxis Canada is responsible for establishing the organization's long-term objectives, setting policy, and monitoring progress and outcomes. All directors are volunteers and do not benefit personally from their association with the board.
The President is also responsible for management and operations and is the only board member who is involved on the management committee.
The Management Committee meets monthly and an Operations Committee meets weekly. Other committees meet on an ad hoc basis.
Anaphylaxis Canada is supported by membership dues, donations, grants, and sales of resources and services. Anaphylaxis Canada retains complete editorial control of its materials, regardless of its funding source. Currently, the organization does not accept advertising on its website.
