Fundraising makes it possible for Anaphylaxis Canada to fund programs, services and research. Past efforts have supported the development of our website, the Canadian Anaphylaxis Registry, educational materials, programs and research. Our year 2001 efforts raised $120,000. We are challenged to increase this amount each year in order to keep pace with our expanding services.
The fundraising portfolio is multi-faceted. We currently run two annual events: the Gala "Faces of Anaphylaxis Dinner and Silent Auction" and the "Annual Golf Tournament". We also support fundraising initiatives of our members, such as the Children's Concerts in October 1999 and May 2001.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all of the committee members and their teams of vital volunteers who have made these events so successful.

Our fifth annual event was again a sold out success. The estimated profit appears to be in excess of $70,000. Congratulations and high praise to Heinz Siegenthaler who first created the event and has led it each year. Congratulations also to Heinz's committee and the volunteers who helped at the event. Chad Brincheski and his Banquet Staff, Corp. Exec. Chef Neal Noble and Chef Patrick Lin and their staff at the Metropolitan Hotel, Toronto also deserve high praise.
